How we handle payments at Microry — clearly, fairly, and securely. Please read before placing your order.

About this Policy

This Billing Policy applies to all orders placed on microry.com and is operated by Microry LLC. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Please read it carefully before completing your purchase. If you have any question about how we charge for our handcrafted Moroccan lighting, our team is just an email away.

01Order Acceptance & Right to Refuse

Microry LLC reserves the right to refuse any order placed through our website. At our sole discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.

These restrictions may apply to orders placed under the same customer account, the same credit card, the same billing address, or the same shipping address. We may use these measures to prevent fraud, protect our artisans, or manage limited stock.

If we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address provided at the time the order was placed. In all cases, any payment captured will be refunded to your original payment method.

All prices on microry.com are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD), regardless of where in the United States you are shopping from. The total at checkout — including any applicable sales tax — is the final amount you will be charged.

03Payment Authorization

By submitting an order on microry.com, you confirm that:

  • The payment method you are using is yours and is authorized for use
  • Your billing information is accurate, complete, and current
  • You have sufficient funds or credit available to cover the full order total
  • You are at least 18 years of age, or have appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian

Microry LLC reserves the right to verify payment information before processing any order. Orders suspected of fraudulent activity may be placed on hold or cancelled without prior notice.

04When Payment Is Captured

We capture payment at the time you place your order — not at the time of dispatch. For handmade-to-order pieces, this is what allows our artisans to begin work immediately and commit materials to your specific order. For in-stock pieces, it lets us inspect and dispatch right away.

Your card is charged at checkout. Your in-stock piece, held in U.S. stock, is then inspected and dispatched within 1 business day and shipped domestically — typically reaching you within 1–3 business days, with tracking emailed at dispatch.

Your card is charged at checkout. Our artisans then begin production immediately. Materials are committed to your piece specifically, which is why custom production carries a 24-hour cancellation window.

Once payment is captured, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order number, item details, and a clear timeline of what happens next.

05Pricing & Billing Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure all prices displayed on our website are accurate and up to date. The price shown at checkout is the final price you will be charged — no hidden fees, no surprises after the fact.

In the rare event of a pricing error or technical issue, Microry LLC will notify you before processing your order. You will have the option to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Sales tax. Sales tax may be applied at checkout depending on your state of residence, in accordance with applicable U.S. state and local tax laws. The exact amount will be displayed before you confirm your order.

Free shipping included in price

Shipping is already included in the price of every Microry piece — free to all 50 U.S. states. No additional shipping charges are added at checkout for any U.S. destination. For full details, see our Shipping Policy.

06Payment Security

All transactions on microry.com are secured with industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption. Payments are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways (Stripe and PayPal). Microry LLC does not store, access, or retain your full credit card number at any point during the process.

After a completed transaction, we only retain the following information for our records:

  • Your billing address
  • Your shipping address
  • The order details and amount
  • The last 4 digits of your payment card (for reference only)
  • The payment method used (e.g., Visa ending in 1234)

07Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge on your account, please contact us at Contact@microry.com or +1 (270) 551-1357 before filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving any billing issue promptly and fairly — and in nearly every case, we can resolve it faster than your bank can.

Chargebacks should only be filed for genuinely fraudulent or unauthorized transactions. Microry LLC reserves the right to investigate and dispute illegitimate chargebacks, including any chargeback filed for a delivered order without prior contact with our customer care team.

Please reach out first. If you ordered a piece and have any concern — it didn't arrive, it arrived damaged, it isn't quite what you expected — we will make it right. A chargeback is rarely the fastest or fairest path to resolution. Email us and you will hear back within 1 business day.

08Order Cancellations

Cancellation rules depend on which type of piece you ordered:

Ready to Ship

Cancel anytime before dispatch

Your order can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched — typically within 1 business day of order placement. Once your tracking number is issued, cancellation is no longer possible, but you may still return the piece under our 90-day return policy after delivery.

Handmade to Order

24-hour cancellation window

Because production begins immediately after payment is captured, cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of order placement. After 24 hours, materials have been committed and our artisans have begun work, so cancellation is no longer possible — but the piece remains covered by our 90-day return policy.

To cancel an order within the eligible window, email Contact@microry.com with your order number as soon as possible. Refunds for cancelled orders are issued within 7 business days to your original payment method.

Once an order has been shipped, it is subject to our Refund & Return Policy — 90 days from delivery, with no restocking fees.

09Changes to This Policy

Microry LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Billing Policy at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. For significant updates, we may notify customers by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website.

Continued use of microry.com after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
